Reiki
Treating the Mind, Body and Spirit

Reiki treats the whole person, mind body and spirit, creating harmonious homeostasis and wellbeing bringing the body back into alignment and balance. It can rejuvenate and renew and is safe for all ages from babies through to the elderly. There are many other ways to use Reiki and it is easily incorporated into daily life.

Reiki
Reiki is an ancient, natural, safe and non-intrusive form of self-healing and spiritual development. Reiki as we know in Western culture was developed by a Japanese Buddhist Priest, Dr Mikao Usui, who after many years of study founded the “Usui Reiki Ryoho” or otherwise known as the “Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method”.
There have been many different adapted forms developed over time but Usui Reiki being the most used form, this is the system that I am trained in and use.
The word Reiki comes from the word “Rei” meaning God’s Wisdom or The Higher Power and Ki” which means Life Force Energy. So therefore we would say the word Reiki stands for spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is administered by the placement of the hands in particular sequences on the body and the use of sacred symbols to ignite life force energy. A trained practitioner can also send via intent to those who cannot be physically with them.
A Reiki session in the clinic is around one hour in duration. I have been blessed to have learnt the teachings and be attuned to Reiki and hope to pass this incredible gift onto others.
Reiki is a practice that should be respected and allowed to organically grow and always used for your highest good.
I am currently attuned as a 3A Master of Usui Reiki and hope to soon complete the level of teacher.
